Join me and the Yoga Center of Columbia as we raise enough funds to provide 200 new backpacks and school supplies for Watkins Mill High School Students.

More than 15 million kids live in extreme poverty in the U.S. 

and arrive on the first day of school without the supplies they need.

​

We will directly deliver the backpacks and school supplies to the students.

​

Watkins Mill school has 88% minority enrollment and 

51% of the students come from economically disadvantaged homes.

​

You Can Help in any of the following ways:

• Donate School Supplies: like pencils, pens, rulers, notebooks, folders, dividers, binders and college ruled paper.

• Donate Money: Every $5 donated buys a backpack for someone in need. The Yoga Center will purchase all backpacks to maintain uniformity.

• Donate Time: We will need volunteers to help us pack the backpacks with supplies on Sunday -  August 18th and/or August 25th.
